Content Creation: Biggest Challenge
When building a website from the ground up the biggest challenge for people is content creation. Especially when it’s your first website. You want everything to be ‘perfect’, but time rolls on while you’re stuck over what to ‘create’
Minutes Turn To Hours
You soon realize that 2 hours has gone by and you are still on your first paragraph of your first page! Now it’s hour three and you have managed only three sentences.
Which starts to stress you out as your expectation of content creation slams into the reality of content creation.
What are you to do, well some people turn to Fiverr.
The Fiverr Curse
Fiverr is an online site home to 1000s of ‘creators, writers, bloggers, youtubers, the list goes on.
The site operates much like any other online store except you don’t buy physical goods like a TV.
You buy digital goods such as ‘youtube subs’, ‘viral videos’, ‘SEO ranking’ and what I’m going to talk about today ‘Site Content’.
Why Some Newbies Choose Fiverr
When you hit that content wall, you get more frustrated and angry as you look at the time as it slips aways and so does your chances of getting to see that movie at 5. So you decide to do what that ‘guru’ on youtube suggests.
Before you ‘head on over to fiverr’ check out what experienced Affiliate Marketers say about Fiverr HERE.
‘Head On Over to Fiverr’
So you get to Fiverr and you have to set up an account. So you do that and then you just ‘type in ‘blog content’ and find a gig. Sounds simple, but you may be setting yourself up for future problems.
Fiverr Gig Is a Trojan Horse
Let’s suppose you do find a gig: ‘400 word blog for $5 in 24 hours‘.
You pay and the next day you got your content great right? Maybe not..
Non-Native Writer Possibility
Your article could be written by someone not located in your country or even your continent which could pose problems. An example is the US & UK.
- In the UK color is spelled colour.
- In the US color is spelled color.
What Quality Do You Really Get For $5?
The answer to this question is shit. You get shit quality because most people will do the BARE minimum to get paid. This is seen in ‘minimum wage cage’ jobs such as Walmart, Kwik-Trip, Wendy’s and so on.
Content is made for SEO not human consuption
This is a major concern for newbies in the affiliate marketing world. They either think or are ‘taught’ that SEO optimization comes first over content.
They believe that if the keyword is mention 20-30 times it will be #1 on Google! This is flawed logic and leads to the content being ‘blocked’ by Google.
Google Is Smart People!
Google is intelligent enough to know the difference between ‘keyword stuffing’ and ‘true blog content’. This fact is learned the hard way for some people as they spend $5 after $5 on Fiverr and can’t ‘get ranked’. After a while they learn about the Fiverr curse and why they aren’t making ‘real money’.
The Fiverr Curse
The Fiverr curse is a curse that goes from person to person, site to site recking havoc on SEO, rankings, and even getting ‘banned’ by some affiliate partnerships.
This curse is passed from one unlucky person to the next, and I am writing this article to stop the SPREAD. We stop the spread through generating content the right ways.
The Right Ways To Generate Content
Here are a few simple tips to help start generating content for your site and leaving you feeling proud with a sense of accomplishment.
Tip 1: Don’t Set A Timeline
Setting an artifical time line only puts stress on you and when people get stressed they begin to focus away from creating.
If you are truely ‘stuck’ walk away from it and go do something else. You’d be amazed just how quickly the creativity comes back.
Tip 2: Brainstorm 5 Ideas That You Can Write About Now
One of the easiest ways to not get stuck is to write about something you know. If you know how to sew, brainstorm 5 things you can write about that.
Tip 3: Your Content Doesn’t Have To Be 1,000 Words!
Some people think that quanity is better then quality. In the Affiliate Marketing world QUALITY matters over Quanity. If you can only write a 100 word blog, but it looks professional and neat that’s GREAT.
You create the content, at your own pace & your own size of content.
