This article will present 5 MORE TIPS that will help you to Save Money by avoiding this ‘make money online free’ scam.
I will also be including information on How To Report A Work From Home Scam. It is important that everyone have information on how to report a work from home scam.
Notorious Online Income Scam
The notorious Work At Home Scam is a scam that has been around while, however with the internet explosion that began in the mid 1990s this scam is one a few that has evolved with the times.
However this scam has many things in common and here are another Tips to avoid falling prey to this scam.
Tip 1: Verify Any Testimonials On The Site
Alot of scammers either use paid gigs (Fiverr) or they simply write the reviews themselves for the product or service they are offering. YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF THAT.
Gigs Easily Got
Most people do not know this, but it is a fact. All you have to do to verify that is google ‘testimonial writing gig’. You’ll find out the truth.
Honest Testimonials Lengthy
Honest testimonials will be lengthy, or will have links to a site, blog, or video where the person goes into detail about the product or service.
A simple ‘great product, love it’ is not good place to start. Better is ‘great product, for a complete review click here’. Watch out though because this leads to #2
Tip 2: Real Work From Home Sites Don’t Require Upfront Payment
Sites that say “Work From Home’ for only $39.95” are likely offering you nothing more then a few hastily written Fiverr gig filled pages filled with outdated or even fraudulent information. Real Work From Home Sites will always be free to sign up and free to use basic services.
Free To Sign-Up, Free To Use
Now there are sites out like Wealthy Affiliate that do offer a paid subscription, but that is up to you and you are NOT REQUIRED to sign up. Make sure that it is FREE to sign up and use basic services.
Tip 3: Research The Site(s) You’re Interested In
This is so important and a step that most people do not even do. They think that’s ‘it’s a sure thing’. Yeah it might be a sure thing for the scammer.
All that person has to do is sit back and wait for people with that mindset. Don’t have that mindset. Research the Site from top to bottom and then research some more.
Think Of It As A Mortgage
Think of a Work From Home venture as a Mortgage.
How many people do you know just walk into a bank and say ‘I’d like a mortgage even though I don’t anything about your bank.”
NO ONE DOES THAT! So why do that with Work From Home venture?
Tip 4: Don’t Rely On A ‘Money-Back Guarantee’ Pledge
I say a pledge because scammers don’t refund money unless a government comes after them. Most governments are not concerned with $50, or $100 losses.
So don’t let that be your deciding factor when deciding to go with a company that seems ‘legit’. Afterall a guarantee is only as good as the man who rights it.
Tip 5: Use Legit Sources To Find Work From Home Jobs
Searching online for ‘Work From Home’ jobs is a great start, but you also have a better chance of being scammed. Use Google and other sources to VERIFY information from the legitimate sources.
The three biggest legitimate sources to find Work From Home resources are:
